The Evesham Professional Fire Association - IAFF Local 4687 is the sole bargaining unit for all career firefighters employed by Evesham Fire District #1.
The Local was chartered on November 3rd, 2008. The focus was forming a collective bargaining unit that could represent it's members, while putting additional focus on the community it serves. Local 4687 of the International Association of Firefighters . The Local is also a member of the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey.
The Evesham Township Professional Firefighters Association consists of 52 highly trained emergency responders & inspectors employed by the Evesham Township Fire District. Our mission is to provide quality fire and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Evesham Township.
Protecting & serving the public does not end at the close of the work day, it continues through a variety of community outreach events and charitable giving. We appreciate all the support the residents of Evesham Township give to the Fire District and our charitable fundraising efforts.

Andrew Komito
Vice President
Andrew was hired by Evesham Fire-Rescue in 2014. Prior to working here in Evesham, Andrew worked as a career firefighter in Winslow Township. He served as the Sergeant-at-Arms for the local from 2023 until he became the Local Vice President in 2025. In 2026 Andrew was elected as the President of Local 4687.
Joe Maduzia
Vice-President
Joe has been with Evesham Fire-Rescue since 2020. Joe served as one of the Local's Shop Stewards prior to assuming the Vice-Presidnet position. Joe also retired from the NJ Army National Guard in 2019 after serving over 10 years.
Eamonn Fitzpatrick-Ruth
Secretary/Treasurer
Eamonn was hired by Evesham Fire-Rescue in 2020. Eamonn was an elected shop steward since 2023 until he assumed the position of Secretary Treasurer in 2025. Eamonn also serves as Chief for Hampton Lakes Emergency Squad.
